Opened in 1996 by Primmadonna Resorts, later purchased by MGM Grand and now owned by MGM Mirage. NYNY features small scale replicas of 1930’s era New York City skyscrapers. Their ‘Manhattan Express’ rollercoaster runs along the Strip. Original cost was $485 million and it is modeled after 12 famous NYC skyscrapers.

At last! A Manhatten (the other 4 burroughs don't exist in this place) for people who aren't absolutely convinced the earth is round. From the outside facade to the darkest recesses inside, the place becomes cheesier and cheesier until it no longer tries to pretend to be what it claims For those interested in home carpentry, scotch tape and plastic molds, the inside of this place is a dream come true..
