The Plaza Hotel and Casino is a reasonably priced 1000+ room downtown hotel with several dining options and good games on the casino floor. The Plaza has one of the few pools downtown, and stands on the site of the original Union Pacific railway depot. The Plaza has been used for the filming of a larger number of movies than any other downtown casino, having served as the backdrop for scenes from "Casino", "Diamonds are Forever", "Back to the Future Part II", and several others.
