  • The entire places smells like a stale fart that lingers on for eternity. Happy to hear they are going to rennovate this dump.

  • Used to stay here all the time -- until the current management took over and turned it into a dump. Used to be a friendly little place where you could do a little gambling, sleep for less than a ransom and generally relax because the people running it were friendly. Not anymore. Avoid this place and go elsewhere

  • Decent hotel for the money is about the best way to describe this place. No frills, but good value for your buck.

  • You get what you pay for. We had a room in the east tower on the 7th floor. It was clean and old. The bathroom had no hair dryer. We got the room through Hotwire and paid $25.50 per night tax included. For that price what more could you expect. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Had breakfast in the coffee shop. the food was good and fairly priced.

  • I recently visited Vegas for a conference (March 29-31, 2004)and was put up in the Lady Luck Casino Hotel. First of all the air ventilation system in there is really bad. It was so smoky. If you have allergies that act up around smoke I would NOT stay here. Because there were no more non smoking rooms available I was given an upgrade to a smoking junior suite. The junior suite was not all that. The couch had rips, tears, stains all over it. I did not sit down on it at all. The room smelled faintly of smoke, but since it was a smoking room it's to be expected. The carpet was gross too. It had stains all over it and it had that thick gross sort of feel. I kept my socks on the entire time. The view wasn't bad. It looked over to the Freemont Experience. The bathroom wasn't too bad I guess. There had been some repair work done to the tub, but it still looked stained. I had read about the Lady Luck online and one of the website said it provided a hair dryer. I assure you it did not. If you wanted an ironing board and iron you needed to call downstairs to get one. The bathrooms did have two sinks which was nice, but still in need of work. I was there with fellow conference goers and they all remarked the same thing in their rooms as well.

  • Pool wasn't too bad, but you needed to get out there early to catch the sun before it went behind the tall building. Price is good for what you get I guess. Service was excellent. I did travel down to the strip and oh, my.....how nice! The Bellagio was breathtaking!! Paris was great, Caesers Palace was incredible. I would definitely recommend staying down on the strip even though it is more pricey. That is the way to go. If you do stay at the Lady Luck there is a bus that will take you straight to the stip for $5 there and back. Make sure you catch it before midnight though to take you back to your hotel. Otherwise you can pay for a one way ticket. There was so much to see and we walked for hours and still didn't see it all. If you do want to stay downtown because it is cheaper a great place to stay is the Golden Nugget Hotel. They have a very nice pool, nice atmosphere, nice slot area. I didn't stay there or see the rooms, but the lobby, restaurant, pool area, gambling area was very nice.

  • room was nice, clean, comfy. casino good. Buffet awful, except to lovely desserts ( odd )

  • What a Dump !!! This is the first time I stayed at the LL and will be my last.Even though most people complain about the Plaza where I mostly stay, This is far worse. After checking in I proceeded to go to my room in the garden court area. After getting to the hallway leading to my room I smelled a strong paint smell all over the hallway. I called and was told that there were painters painting the hallway and will be down by the end of the day. Since they didn't open any doors to air it out it still smelled strong enough that you couldn't stay in the hallway for more then a few seconds after we checked out 3 days later !! Grounds keeping was nowhere to be seen, As showed by the food containers left on the ground for more then two days .Also there was a roach problem from the walkway leading from the casino to the rooms.Other then that the casino to be in fairly good shape.Hopefully they will improve the hotel problems soon.

  • Lady Luck is a great bargain for gamblers. The dealers are very friendly and comps are good too. Don't expect too much from the room - but who stays in the room anyway? A great value!

  • What a great bargain! My husband and I just got back and in the first night won enough money in the casino to pay for the entire trip plus some. The rooms are clean and the people are extremely friendly. You don't go to Vegas to hang out in your room, you go to gamble. We orginally came to Vegas for a reunion up on the strip, but opted to stay here instead. What a goldmine. Won more money than any of our friends up town. If your looking for a place to stay thats clean, cheap, friendly and lots of fun, this is the place!

  • It's okay, but theres much better to be had for the price.
