I have stayed at this hotel and casino three times and it has been perfect everytime. The location ok the strip is unbeatable and the values that can be found in the casino and the mall are unmatched on vegas. The rooms are big and super comfortable. They are clean and always stocked with what you need. Planet Dailies is open 24/7 and is a great value. The casino is huge and very modern. I enjoyed gambling at planet Hollywood and the dealers are always willing to teach and guide you. I love to play pai pow and blackjack and they are the beat casino to play those games at. I will also say that KOI, in the planet Hollywood, was unvelivably good. Me and my friends had never had suhi and fell in love with it on our last trip.

Young, great beds, decent location. Candidate for most improved after transformation from Alladin. Decent rooms lousy pool, excellent beds, comparable to TI. Iprefwr TI's location a touch more though. If you are looking for a younger crowd but on strip location as opposed to Hard rock or Palms P Ho should fit the bill.

We stayed at PH over Christmas in a Deluxe ROH room overlooking the pool complex. Check in was quick at 11am on a Sunday. Our King bed was really comfy, we loved it. I liked having the shower and tub seperate, and I used the tub a few times. (I brought a travel pack of clorox wipes because ya just never know...although the tub looked clean) Our room was just a few steps from the elevator, too, which we thought was a plus. We had neighbors, but never heard them once, and we were never bothered by noise in the hall. We ordered room service once and everything was tasty (2 burgers) and prepared as requested. It only took about 20 minutes from the time I called until the food got there. Negatives were minimal; small window with a table, chair and lamp blocking it- we moved the furniture, worn looking bedspreads, timeshare people and out of order soda machines were the extent. Overall, we'd stay again in a heartbeat. Service was great, we got a good price and the beds are so comfortable. Convenience to dining and shopping is a definite plus, as well.

Forgot to add below that PH is the only "upscale" casino on the strip that had $5.00 craps table(s) on the weekend...at least during the day. They also had some $5.00 table games (roulette, 3 card poker, etc...) but I didn't see $5.00 blackjack. Still, it's nice to go to an upscale casino with low minimums to get started

While I did not stay at this hotel, my wife and I did gamble a bit at the casino and were very impressed with the new PH decor and the great dealers/pit bosses. The dealers were friendly and funny and even though i lost a bit on the tables, I had a great time. My wife won quite a bit (for us) on the slots and really enjoyed playing at PH. We joint the "A-list" players' club so we'll see what comes of that comps-wise in offers over the next few months. Not sure if I would stay there (unless they replaced the beds...my wife stayed when it was the Aladdin in 2004 and said the beds were rocks) but we'll see what they offer me!

I've stayed at the Aladdin on three different occasions since it reopened. The basic room (the one you can expect if you pay the casino rate or get a couple nights free, but don't qualify for full RFB) is okay. Furnishing are decent quality, and all rooms have nice, large bathrooms. Don't expect much in the way of view, however, as most of these rooms look across the vast roof of Desert Passage towards the airport. The "resort" rooms are larger, and have the better views. Most prized are the rooms looking out towards Bellagio. Although not quite the deal they once were, these are nicer rooms than what you find next door at the Paris. Many people complain about the layout, but once you get used to it, its not bad. The walk from the elevator to the room is short, and elevators arrive quickly. The pool is adequate, but not spectacular. My impression is that they are understaffed, so don't expect fast drink service. Overall, if you want a nice room in a great location, but don't want to pay Bellagio rates, this is a good choice.

Bill Timmins is nothing more then a RIGHT WING NAZI for kicking Linda Ronstadt out of his hotel for exercising her right to Freedom of Speech. Don't stay here unless you are a like minded NAZI..

We have been staying at the Aladdin for the last 3 years. We have received excellent rooms, comps are fantastic, probably won't stay anywhere else.

I go to Vegas 5 times a year and usually stay at the Aladdin. Join the players club and every quarter, they send you a flier with special rates. Otherwise, expensive. Make sure you trat yourself and have dinner at the Spice Market Buffet. The best dinner buffet in Vegas.

Stayed 3 nights and found the hotel nice and clean. Bathroom was small but was clean. The casino was spacious and the machines very tight. The mall within the aladdin was excellent and the best part. The buffet was overpriced however the food was very good. The location on the strip was very good however we did not have a view of the fountains. Ask for a room with a view if possible. The pool was unique but small. We enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this hotel to anyone as we will stay there again.

stayed 6 days / 5 nights may 2004 had a great time. Standard room king bed, was nice. Hotel casino host was wonderful, just use a host and not the club aladdin desk clerk, casino host can do more for you. check in and out was fast and nice. used valet serice once since i rented a car for a day, they have a avis on site. every hotel room is only about 5 door away from elevators unlike other strip hotels, and the check in / lobby is not in the casino which makes checking in and out nicer. hotel layout take about a day to understand. Returning jan 2005 for 3 nights.

We stated in a Resort Vista Suite. Overall i had a nice stay. The location is great. I believe the cost was a little high, after i compaied prices. Only complaint is the beds are rock hard. The casino itself was nothing special. The casino staff went over frindly.

I wish the hotel had managment who really believe in customer care. The Aladdin had the worst service I have ever had. Rude, Rude, Rude...nobody really cares if you have a problem or not. The romm was nice, but the walls were thina nd you could here the other people in the other room. There are toooo many place to stay in L.V.

as the owner of a travel agency, i try and research properties first hand so that i can better accomodate my clients. i stayed at the aladdin 8/17-8/22/04. what a wonderful trip. from the front desk staff to the housekeeping dept. all were more than efficient. the room was kepr immaculate the entire week. called hk to get a clothes rack to hang additional clothing on, and it arrived approx. 10 minutes later. the safe had been locked and i ask for someone to open it...less than 10 minutes for that. very prompt and courteous.the casino staff and cocktail waitresses were very friendly. the aladdin has a great comp system... one of the best i have ever seen. location on strip is perfect. i would highly recommend this great property to all of my clients. we will be putting a group together for march 05 for this property. oasisvacations@atlanticbb.net if interested!!

Have stayed at the Aladdin a few times and will be going again in October. Excellent value for the money, great comps.

I've been staying at the Aladdin for the past two years (Vegas frequent visitor for eight) and I absolutely love it. As a college student (24, and yes I've been going to Vegas since 16) the room rates here can't be beat for its location, luxury, and complete experience. The room has a wonderful king bed (though if you get a two queen bed room you will lose a bit of foot space) with four pillows which are a little too soft and squishy (if you lie firm pillows I recommend you bring your own). The room decor is elegant and comfortable. I love the bathroom though, two can fit into the shower, but the nozzle on the shower head is light in the amount of water it produces, and the bathtub is just too much fun (and yes, two can fit quite nicely). It's nice having the seperate toilet, but the light switches always seem to baffle me. THe soap has a nice spicy scent, but the packaging isn't attractive. It will get you nice and clean, and really, isn't that what matters after a late night of partying? Maid service seems to start promptly at eight so put you privacy sign in the key slot. They don't seem to knock, but will apologetically go away once they know you are inside. I've always thought the service at the front desk was impeccable. They are quick, efficient, and always pleasant; even when it comes to getting hard tickets they go out of their way. Valet (well, really all valet) is a waste of time, but if you don't want to drag your luggage through the shops, go for it. My main complaint is the pool(s). Two matching ones flanking the spa/fitness center, they are pretty sorry (4 feet deep, I think). The bathing area is sad too with the large spa facility blocking out the afternoon sun. You have to pay (even as a guest) for the fitness facilities. Still, I love this resort, you can spend your entire time here and never leave.

Had a good time here! Bathroom was AWSOME! Just don't play Single deck Blackjack w/ 6to5 payout!

Las Vegas travel alert: There is a high profile and contentious labor dispute at the Aladdin Resort & Casino. Thousands have demonstrated in front of the hotel in support of the majority of Aladdin workers who have signed union cards. To see pictures and newspaper coverage of the demonstrations or to request television coverage, please go to www.LVAladdinAlert.info. Jesse Jackson has led demonstrators and the Aladdin workers have presented a petition to Aladdin management demanding union recognition. The Federal government has filed a complaint against the Aladdin Resort & Casino for over 70 alleged violations of federal labor laws. A majority of Aladdin employees are seeking to join the Culinary and Bartenders Unions Locals 226 & 165 through a process known as card check. The Aladdin is refusing to respect the decision of a majority of their employees. 50,000 workers and a majority of the casinos in Las Vegas are represented by the Culinary and Bartenders Union.

stayed here september 2003 did not have to wait to check-in, got a free room upgrade enquired about a view and got fantastic view of eiffel tower/bellagio fountains. room was large is size & the bathroom was superb. was also happy with pool areas read a lot of poor reviews and was suprised they had 2 large pools with cocktail service. location also good within easy waking distance of either south or central strip areas. this is my 2nd trip out to vegas and i would certainly stay at the aladdin again.
September 11 2003
Had a Standard Room that was much larger than other standards on the Strip and for a better price. The Bathrooms were GREAT! Separate showers and tub and a private 'stink room' for the john. Decor was decent in the room and if you wanted to spend $10 a day, you could check your email or read casino reviews in between gaming. Wonder what it'll be like after Planet Hollyweird takes over.
August 21 2003
The room is larger than normal, but there is no reason why it costs as much as it does. I would choose this place over some of the MGM Mirage properties due to the larger rooms, but there is simply not that much special about the rooms. The bathroom is large. Water pressure is wanting, but this is typical in large hotels. I really didn't like the toiletries they gave out. Parking is hell since you have to walk a really long way to the lobby and casino. ALWAYS valet park here unless you just want to go shopping. Valet is not the fastest either. Never saw the pool. The service is really nice though. The staff really goes beyond the call of duty here.
July 30 2003
Do not know how to put it in words but here I go..."WOW" I could just live in the baths room at the Aladdin. I mean all of them. I became spoiled by the ones in the lobby through out the place and the one in my room was a dream. We us pictures of it and the view from it as background pictures all over the net. The Service was great and these people can comp like no ones business. We are planning more trips to Vegas and it will be hard to go any where else.

Although Hunter can't stand the jewels on the columns in the hotel, I sort of liked them. I loved my stay at Aladdin. I had a standard room with a view of the Harley Davidson Cafe and south. The view would have been better in the other wing as it would look at the Bellagio fountiain. But the window was small and not really comfortable for viewing. I was in love with the bathroom with a big, deep, soaking tub. They even include some spiced smelling bath gel as part of their beauty supplies. I didn't think I was ever going to get out of the bathtub and back into the casino. The room was comfortable and the geek in my loved the high speed internet access from the room. The pool was a major disappointment, but because it's not a high priority for me, I highly recommend this hotel. There are good deals to be had before the new people purchase and potentially mess up this property. Enjoy! Sonya@travel2vegas.com

I stayed Aladdin for 2 nights. I reserved Resort Vista room, and upon check-in, I received an upgrade to Endcap suite for no extra charge. It was a great room offering 180 degree view with big screen TV, marble bath with deep tub and separate shower. This hotel was just so perfect. The location is perfect, and the stuff were very friendly. This was the best place in Las Vegas so far.
May 25 2003
Very nice hotel. I had very good service and had no problems while here. Rooms and bathroom were cleaned each day. Room service was also good. I`am staying here in June 03.I asked for a room close to the elevators, and got it. By playing slots here,or hotel troubles as some one stated. My room rate was $39.00 per night this year (weekday ),down from $119.00 last year. Can`t beat that price for a trouble hotel in these rooms.

Do they hire anyone nice or competent to work their front desk? That was the only problem we had, but the assistant manager made it up to us. The large (1255sf) suites are worth every penny! We got a 35th Fl Bellagio view for our wedding reception and it was magnificent! I just love that place. The Bellmen are great, Valet's great, Housekeeping is very good and got all 3 rooms done early each day. We had a huge mess from the party and they refused to give up trash bags to clean up-they did it all without a moments hesitation. Ofcourse we tipped the attendant well for great service. The food is good everyplace we ate. I'll be back often.

The Aladdin is having some financial trouble. Because of that, you can get rooms in this $1.2 billion resort for a lot less than what you would expect. For all of its problems, the rooms are well designed. They are large and well appointed. Check the Aladdin for some good deals - you won't be disappointed.
July 21 2002
Stayed here in September 2000 and it was great there were a few teething problems with fire alarms going off one night but service was great and room lovely. the only thing that alarmed me was one night I had been drinking and by mistake put my key into a wrong room and it opened it !!

Was given a complimentary upgrade to an orchid room on the top floor - an oversized single room with king bed and view of south strip & Bellagio. Bathroom was nice - large soaking tub (not a jacuzzi), flat- screen TV over vanity, marble surfaces. In-room computer terminal didn't work and bathroom hair dryer wasn't working. I called housekeeping about the dryer, and they replaced it with another dryer that only worked on low setting. Check-in was swift and friendly, and the room was generally comfortable and spacious. Would definitely return to Aladdin.

Had a great vacation here. The buffet was fantastic as well. Probably Vegas's least busiest. We were upgraded, for free, to a Jacuzzi suite because they were underbooked. Totally enjoyable stay that I recommend to everyone. Small sports bar though. Pool was nice and not crowded. Wish it was on the ground level though instead of having to take an elevator to the rooftop. I'd definitely stay again.
April 13 2002
The room had old faded bedspreads, burnes by cigarattes coils, had to request change of room and offered a handicapped room, which ended been even worse, requested change for the 3rd time, and finally ok. Do they know about softener for towells and sheets , nnnnnnoooooo! enden up with the dermatologist for sandin my skin with teh towels. I wouldnt return. The only good thing was the buffet.
April 12 2002
Got a resort room and was very happy with bathroom. Separate water closet, soak tub, double vanity, marble, separate shower with place to sit, etc. Not happy with maid trying to barge in our room and NOT happy for being charged 4.95 per bottle of water which we did NOT consume. They charged us for two bottles. As I have read, this has happened to a number of guests and happened to us as well. Casino nice but overall just doesn't scream "come back to me" Would go back if I got a good deal possibly.

I have been to the Aladdin twice and this is the only place I will stay at in Vegas. The service I have recieved has been top notch. I hear people touting about the service at the Bellagio, but since I am younger (25), they seem to look down there noses at me. Check in has always been extremely fast for me and both occasions I have stayed here, they allowed me to check in extremely early (6 am). The rooms are well appointed and spacious. The closest space was adequate for my short trips (3 days), but if you are staying longer, you may have some problems. The beds were comfortable and clean. Maids cleaned daily and re-stocked ample supply of towels. The bathrooms were luxurious and very large. Seperate shower and deep soaking tub and seperate toilet (I don't realize why more properties don't do this). If you are able to get a suite, you will be even more amazed with the bathroom with the LARGE deep soaking tub and double vanity. Bathrooms were marble with great fixtures. Only complaint is the toiletries could have been a little fancier, but I bring my own with me anyway. When I am in Vegas, I don't really want to spend that much time in my room, I want to be out and about and having fun. But, when I am exhausted I want my room to be a relaxing haven, and the rooms at the Aladdin accomplish just that.

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and everyone from cashiers to managers were nice. If you think about it, it takes alot to put up with the public. I loved the Hotel!!! We upgraded to a Resort Vista Room (1480), over looking the fountains 3 huge windows in the bedroom, and one above the sunk in bathtub. It had a wonderful view of the fountains.
November 16 2001
Great room, but service was mediocre.
October 22 2001
We stayed for a week. Because the only rooms left were smoking, and we requested non-smoking, the hotel accomodated us by upgrading us to a suite. In either case, the rooms were well-appointed, spacious and comfortable. The pool is disappointing, however. The patio for the pool area is scenic but the pool itself is a typical rectangular crowded pool and deck. The casino has a very open design, with high ceilings, open up to three stories tall. One of the nicest casinos on the strip. Not smokey, nice setting. Nice bar area with live music that overlooks the Casino below. Highly recommended
September 05 2001
Spent five days there in August. It was great! Staff was friendly, casino slots were loose, food was excellent, desert passages was a great shopping area. Overall, just a wonderful week. We recommend it highly to anyone.
September 04 2001
WE DIDNT STAY AT THE ALADDIN BUT VISITED THE CASINO AND MALL. THE CASINO WAS VERY TACKY FOR SUCH AN EXPENSIVE HOTEL. SEVERAL OF THE CHEAP JEWEL DECORATIONS ON THE COLUMNS WERE EITHER STOLEN OR FALLING OFF AND THE CASINO HAD A VERY MONO-TONE COLOR THEME. THE SPORTS BOOK WAS AMONG THE SMALLEST IV'E SEEN AND THE DESSERT PASSAGE WAS BORING. WE DID EAT BREAKFAST ONE MORNING THERE AND WAITED FOREVER FOR OUR FOOD. SERVICE WAS POOR.
September 03 2001
Just visited Labor Day weekend 2001. The room was average size/quality, but the bathroom was superb (sunken tub, for those of you who like to soak). Biggest drawback to the room was a tiny window (disturbing for those used to the full-size windows at similar hotels. Might not go back for that reason.
August 21 2001
We had an excellent stay there in May and are going back in October.
July 31 2001
very nice place not very crowded friendly people very good sunday brunch and breakfast buffet at the spice market very large bathrooms and above arverage room sizean overall nice hotel just getting a bad rap.
June 28 2001
Stayed for 1 week in June.Friendly and helpful staff with exception of pool staff who acted as if you were an intruder rather than a guest. Gaming is good, buffet is the best I have experienced in my 20 trips to Vegas. If you have to stay on the strip this is the place.
January 23 2001
I loved everything about the Aladdin!! My room was great, the Desert Passage was truly spectacular and the London Club is the best casino in Vegas. Dont miss it, Im going back in August.
November 27 2000
Tiny closet space in room. Large, luxurious bathroom. No bellmen to be found at checkin or checkout. VERY inconvenient and long walk from parking deck to casino and/or room, through Desert Passage mall, makes valet parking essential.
