After great experiences in other restaurants in Vegas, Ming’s in Imperial Palace turned out to be a bitter disappointment. We ordered a soup, an appetizer, and 4 main dishes. The wanton soup was decent but no better than something you would get at a regular buffet. The fried shrimp is similar. The main dishes were horrendous! The scallops were undercooked (raw and sour tasting in the middle), the vegetables bitter, and the mongolian beef not even worth a second taste. Never order tea there—if you do, they will bring you a small teapot with maybe 3 cups’ worth of tea and charge you $2 w/o tax for the tea and another $2 for EACH refill. The meal cost me $80 and I was generous enough to add a $12 tip (15%) even though the experience was terrible. To add insult to injury though, they charged me $105 on my credit card! You can bet I’ll be disputing this one!

Low cost by Vegas casino standards, but only because you get what you pay for . Very average , no better than average take-out back in L.A. Very slow to take order, but food came very fast Also kind of greasy
Chang’s at Bally gets a 9 out of 10, but costs three times as much so choice is yours!?

We ate dinner here with a group and found it excellent. The service was fast and friendly. The Hot and Sour soup is the best I have ever tasted (I eat Chinese alot). Note, when they say a dish is hot, consider it hot. I had the Mongolian Beef, and it was very hot. The server noticed my red face and sweating brow, and promptly brought me another serving that was less spicy. Definitely worth the visit.

ATE HERE JULY 98. ORDERED THREE DIFFERENT MAIN COURSE DISHES. THEY ALL TASTED EXACTLY THE SAME EVEN THOUGH TWO OF THEM WERE SUPPOSED TO BE HOT AND SPICEY (WHICH THEY WERE NOT).
