Unfortunately, the profile for this hotel hasn’t been updated in a while and some of the information is old. This cafe is now named Planet Dailies.
This cafe has HDTVs all over the place tuned to the likes of ESPN, so if you want to see a sporting event or something but your group doesn’t agree or you don’t want to live in a sports book all day, it’s an alright place for that purpose. The menu could be improved, though. It’s heavy on the fattening stuff, so dieters and veggie-lovers will find very few choices. Too bad, the menu at this location in it’s Aladdin era was more varied than it is now.
Also, about a third of the TVs in the cafe itself run a video loop advertising the cafe, the other third runs some sort of Extra video reel advertising different Vegas ad PH stuff, and the other third run sports. I’m already in the coffee shop/hotel, so how about putting up business news or something instead of looping footage of cheeseburgers and panned views of the dining room I’m sitting room?
Oh, and did I mention they completely forgot about our order and brought it only after we saw several people who arrived after us get food and finally broke down and complained? Yikes.

This place has great serverice, but the menu has been taken over by Planet Hollywood. I used to love to fried mozarella, but that was not found on the menu anymore. They also used to have the BEST milkshakes anywhere, but now they seem like come from a machine and are not handmade. I also think the prices have gone up for everything. I ordered a Pink’s hot dog and it was 12.95, where here at the orig Pinks in L.A., it would be about 5 dollars. My wife had bacon and eggs and it was 10.95.

Average service, more selection than many of the places in town.

Friendly service, the food is very nice. My husband and I have made a tradition of eating our first meal in Vegas here. I love the Emperor’s Feast wich is pleanty for two to share. I’ve never had to wait long and the servers always check in on you and are ready to refill or get you whatever you need at the drop of a hat. The water is awful though (as is most resteraunts in Vegas) but the mixed drinks are lovely.

It’s ok. Would I write home about it, no. The food is, hey let’s go to the buffet. The service was, hey the buffet is just down stairs. Get the point. But when it’s 3am and you are looking for a quick sandwich, Denny’s is just down the street.

Very average 24 hour coffee shop… The orange juice was not fresh… I might go back, but in general much better food can be had elsewhere.

This is an overprized Denni”s type restaurant.
The food is kind of cold and i bet they make it at noon and seats all day waiting for customers who didnt make it to the buffet, or that are lazy to go to Dennis next door.
Dont be lazy, go to denni”s.

OK food, but prices were high even by Vegas standards!

Excellent quality, nice selection, friendly staff.
Portions are large enough to share. Lots of fresh ingredients.
Try the cinnamon french toast or the fruit french toast – it’ll make sure you have a good experience!
