Don’t go to this place if you are hungry. The portions were small. The atmosphere was very nice. The food was good but not great. I would not return to this restaurant.

The first night we were at Mandalay Bay, my wife and I were going through all the fine restaurants at the hotel. When we walked into Shanghai Lilly, we told the hostess that we were just looking around. She invited us to go into the restaurant and have a good look inside. We found that this restaurant has six booth with hanging drapes to make it semi-private from the rest of the dining room. We just love it and would like to try it. We got one of these booth and it was just great to be inside of it. A man in suit came to give menu to us. We ordered black pepper beef tenderloin, steamed garlic shrimp, and a plate of fried rice with shrimp and B.B.Q. pork. They were great. I have to say I never have beef that was so tender. The size of the shirmps were jumbo and they were very fresh. I will recomment this restaurant to anyone I know who will visit vegas.
