Big Al's has never disappointed!! It has, by far, the greatest clams EVER. And, I live on the west coast. The service has always been sweet, it's not fact, it's not meant to be. I can't wait to go back.

This review won't be of the food because I didn't get to try any. Because there was no hostess at the stand. So I stood there for several minutes waiting. Then just grabbed a menu and sat at the bar. Where I then witnessed the chef banging pans around loudly while arguing with waitress. No one seated in the booths had food yet and there were concerned and impatient looks on their faces. I was ignored and could sense this meal was not going to happen. So I left and went next door and had a wonderful meal at TGI Fridays of all places! Get it together Big Al and work it out behind the scenes!

The clam chowder here is the best we have ever had! Home made crackers to go with it and the spinach and artichoke dip. Mmmm! We both had the shrimp scampi, huge portion, and tastes amazing!

The clam chowder is amazing! We also had the spinach and artichoke dip, Mmmmm. Service is great! We finished with the shrimp scampi, delicious! We would definitely go back.

The best Clam Chowder west of New England is in...Las Vegas? Yes. Place KICKS #$! and is a great place to have a beer and watch the cooks prepare your fresh seafood. But its all about the chowder, so thick it could be eaten with a fork and their fantastic lavash bread. A huge bowl of chowder, unlimited bread, micro brew for about $6.00

The chowder is prepared fresh all day right before your eyes. Magnificent place to eat. Very clean. Worth going out of your way for.

Tried Big Al's this past May - Shrimp Cocktail & Seafood Gumbo. Words can't describe how awesome the food is!! Can't wait to go back & plus they are open late!

Decor is nothing fancy, but we really enjoyed the food.

Stayed at the Orleans last October and ate at Big Al's every night! This is a great place and don't forget to try the oyster shooters...And the linguine with clams is to die for.
