Great article.

I read this and get the sense that this guy really understands the market and the way his property is positioned in it.

Very interesting. He has a no-nonsense assessment of the Hilton's strenghts and weaknesses, and it sounds like they have some solid ideas on how to make it a better property. I for one will not shed any tears when they finally redevlop the lame Star Trek/Spacequest portion of the casino.

Better integrating the Hilton to the LV Convention Center makes sense. It's a long, dull walk between the Hilton casino and the convention center.

I also like the direction the LV Hilton is going.

Wacky idea of the day - Colony purchases the Riv, giving them a strip foothold, and they can develop a mall of sorts going all the way back, across the street, to the LV Hilton.
