Well, I never thought I would ever have any content that would grace the pages of Apple.com but it turns out I was wrong...

Congratulations! This is a huge deal. I think I'll use this as the hook for my next LVBP column--new tech changing the game in Vegas for the better. I think this demonstrates the growing importance of Internet and wireless media in hospitality. You should be happy and proud.

I'm a technologist at heart and I've been trying to experiment with new ways to bring good Vegas content to people *while they are in town*.

There's such an abundance of choice that it is overwhelming for some folks and I have a huge database of ratings and reviews to help guide folks to good experiences. That information is most valuable on the ground and this is an effort to make that easier.

I've had mobile sites for BlackBerry and Treo in the past but the iPhone site has really taken off - thousands of users on that sub-site per day!

It's interesting because you're doing something that's similar to what Harrah's is planning with Surface--a virtual concierge that is easily accessible in the casino. True, people can't redeem their Total Rewards points here, but they won't get unbiased restaurant reviews from the Surface interface, will they?

I've got a theory that, in the new economy of Las Vegas, information, not connections, is the new currency. So people like you are very important, because you can get more or less objective information to large numbers of visitors.

Incorrect as written. *Advertising* is everywhere -- actual *Information* is still a rare and precious commodity.

Kudos to Hunter for continuing to try new stuff.
