MGM Mirage announced today that they will build a $3 billion, non gaming resort in Abu Dhabi, part of the United Arab Emirates.

So this won't cost MGM a cent. That makes me feel better as a stock holder. Looks like they are covering the cost of the project, and are paying MGM to develop and manage the property. Not a bad deal, I suppose.
It's amazing and exciting to watch Las Vegas' biggest brands branch out across the world. Vegas brands truly are global brands now. I wish MGM Mirage the best on this project.
