(Pathetic Suckup Alert)
Great show, guys. My only suggestion is about the music. How about you pick out 4 or 5 Vegasy ditties off some public domain area, and let your loyal listeners vote on which they like best? I think this would increase interest, loyalty and sense of ownership at the same time!

The reason that Cosmopolitan magazine brought a trademark action against the Cosmopolitan resort is because trademark law requires you to vigorously defend your mark, even when the infringement might be deemed a weak case. If you don't you risk the mark becoming generic and losing your investment in its exclusive value. Sure some cases will be very weak, but when an egregious case comes along, a judge will look at whether you have actively defended the mark. So it's not about the money, it's about being able to fight real battles down the road. The bigger story is that Cosmopolitan might have some designs on using its brand in Las Vegas... but that's just speculation.

Yeah, Ray is right and I'm remiss for not mentioning that during the show.

Regarding the Harrah's debt segment. At 28:40, David McKee states "For every $100 million they have in debt, it's costing them $21 million to insure it." Could you enlighten me about what this is and how it's structured? Thanks.
Also, happy birthday, Hunter.

I don't know the answer but I do remember hearing that so hopefully David will respond.
