I couldn't read this article because I don't subscribe to the nyt. However, the first line of the article raised a question in my mind. Everyone keeps saying the Wynn cost 2.7 Billion but what I wonder is how much of that has gone towards building up the Wynn corp prescence and land acquisition for other projects and how much actually went into the hotel. For instance, I have read that the land to be used for Encore is included in the Wynn hotel costs.

Yes, Wynn's land cost for the entire DI parcel is included in the $2.7B, as far as I know.
