Rolling Stone Hotel? Snore.

Posted by Hunter

This story's been making the rounds for the last couple of days - a hotel with a Rolling Stone theme... What is that theme exactly? Suck? Rolling Stone hasn't had much cultural significance for a long time, maybe since the Dr. Thompson days.

Anyway, my gut is that this project ain't gonna happen.

And how significant is Planet Hollywood? Which, by the way, is beginning to show up on the outside. The southern corner of the tower is now being repainted cream and blue, with a bit more glass and a lot less fake jewels. Looks nice and when complete will probably help Bally's from looking so dated.

Planet Hollywood is another property that I think has a better chance of failing than making it.

Still, repainting that god-awfully ugly building can only be a good thing.
