Check out this YouTube video that combines Wynn's Encore renderings with construction photos:

Huge thanks to Mike E for tracking this down.

Also, this piece in the Sun on Encore:

Wynn talks about hoping to open on December 22nd if he can get temporary occupancy before that. In the past they haven't seemed as worried about getting that occupancy certificate so why this time?

The piece also talks about opening a couple of hundred rooms per day so I guess we have confirmation of the first Wynn soft opening, at least when it comes to planning.

By the way, talk about Wynn Macau.

It's even more similar than I would have guessed. Look at that main pool area - the window into the casino looks so much the lobby window that overlooks the pool at Wynn Macau.

The atrium ceiling immediately struck me as a brighter version of the terminal at Reagan National Airport.

It's certainly not exact replica or anything, but as someone who uses that airport a lot, that's the first thing I thought of. (Incidentally, the terminal was designed by Cesar Pelli.)

For some reason, watching that video and seeing the first interior designs reminded me of the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City when Wynn opened that and a little of the Golden Nugget in Vegas when Wynn remodeled it. Probably won't look anything like that in reality, just an initial reaction my mind made, like I've seen this before.

For me it looks like Encore will be a cross between Bellagio and Wynn. I'm a big fan of all of the columns.

I'm a little worried about the pool though. The one regular pool doesn't look like it has a lot of space. I think the European pool is taking up too much space. The pools also look like they are going to have lounge chairs in the water like at Venetian and Palazzo. I wonder what that water feature at the pool is going to be. It looks like its near the end of the main pool. I wonder if guests from Encore will be able to use Wynn's pool and guests from Wynn will be able to use Encore's pool.

I believe that only Encore guests will be permitted to use the pool - it's meant as a deluxe amenity for them.

As far as the 'feature' at the end of the pool, that is a smaller pool (not for swimming) that is at the foot of the windows into the casino.

Check photos of Wynn Macau to see a similar feature between the registration area and their pool.

Here's a photo of Macau, looking from the lobby:

JK, when I asked a reservation agent about a private pool for Encore Tower Suites guests like WLV has, she said there wouldn't be one but that I'd be able to use WLV's pool. However, I wasn't sure if she meant everyone at Encore could use the extra pools or if it was only a benefit for suite guests. Either way, as Hunter mentioned, I doubt the benefit will work the other way around.

I don't think that wall of floor-to-ceiling glass that's supposed to overlook the pool from the casino is going to be as spectacular as we had all hoped for. Looking at these renderings and overhead shots, it seems the wall is only on the northern half of the foot print overlooking the elongated pool. Maybe my sense of scale is off, but that has to be less than the 250-foot or so length that Wynn had mentioned. On the other hand, if the wall does indeed extend south from the circular restaurant, then I'm guessing the views of the southern pool will only be available to those eating in the restaurants.

Just a quick question has anyone found out or heard what the difference between the resort side and the tower side of encore will be. Obviously with WLV you have the Pool and the proximity to the high limit areas and the Tableu, but I have yet to hear anything really special that separates them other than the intimacy more personal aspect of the tower side, and again the easy access to the high limit areas.

Definitely I agree with the pool not having enough space but overall good Im impress with the design.
