Great interview, as usual. Thanks to both Tim and Hunter. Very entertaining and informative. I am very thankful that people like both of you take the time to produce these podcasts and websites. They are truly a highlight of my life and I love flying across the country in order to attend the live events. I do have one question though: What does Hunter do for a living?

Oh, I though that was a known quantity...

I make apps for the iPhone and iPad. People hire me and my team if they want to build an app but don't have the in-house resources to do so.

Fun. Thanks for the shout-out, there may someday be a Strip Walk again.

I always thought New Generation Release Day would have been the biggest seller for the store unless you make games.

Good times, thanks for sharing. What are some of your favorite podcasts you are currently listening to outside of Fivehundy, and 360 vegas?

Most of the podcasts I listen to are tech, politics or news podcasts. Happy to list them, though I'm not sure how interested people are.

I'm always looking for something new to listen to on my hour long drive to work and I especially like tech, news, and politico that isn't just more campaign blah blah blah.

Ok, here goes with the non-Vegas podcasts:

- Pretty much anything on the 5by5 network (5by5.tv) but specifically The Talk Show, Hypercritical, The Critical Path, The B&B Podcast and Build & Analyze.

- Slate podcasts like the Political Gabfest and the Culture Gabfest.

- Some TWiT shows like TWiT, MacBreak Weekly, Windows Weekly and sometimes Triangulation.

- NPR's Intelligence Squared debate show.

- KCRW's The Business.

- The Verge's 'VergeCast'.

That's just a few but some good ones.

Hunter, a great interview by Tim. I really enjoyed learning about your family background, including information on your Dad's interest in theology and your time in England. For some reason, what shocked me was your talking about your first trip to Vegas in 1997 when you stayed at New York New York and walking by Bellagio's unfinished lake. It took me a minute to realize you never experienced the Strip when The Dunes was there and pre-NYNY, the new MGM Grand and other properties. It's a little disconcerting, if I understood correctly, when you mentioned Vegas is a little more like work since the building boom stopped. Let's hope there are more big stories to come in Vegas that you can cover. Fun interview. Thanks.

Yeah, that's true - I never experienced a Las Vegas before NYNY. Everything else is in my imagination.

As far as burnout goes, I'm not sure what to say. Some days I'm enthused and others I'm over it. That balance could change anytime but I'm just taking the days as they come.
